Bradley Sugarman, AIA, LEED AP
Director of San Francisco Housing
Bradley has been practicing architecture in California for over 25 years and has experience working in all aspects of the process from concept design to construction administration. As the Director of MWA’s San Francisco housing team, he leads the studio in multifamily housing design, including age and income-restricted housing, market-rate apartments, and condominiums.
He is passionate about providing sustainable living options in the Bay Area and cares deeply about the community and how his projects impact the neighborhood and future residents. Encouraging problem solving, creativity, and firm values within his team gives the work meaning in both its immediate context and to the broader world.
His favorite part of the job is working with people, mentoring his teams, and collaborating to make the project vision a reality. As a leader, he ensures that everyone on a project is invested in their work. He is excited to share his passion for sustainable design with his studio and to work together on innovative and creative work for the community.
During his free time, he enjoys cycling, listening to music, and eating good food. He is excited about the live concerts, nights out at restaurants with family and friends, and California road trips to come.
