Architect

Tom is an architect with a passion for combining art, science, and engineering to create meaningful spaces. He has always enjoyed drawing and building, and architecture was the perfect fit for his creative interests. Tom finds the diversity of his work particularly rewarding, as architecture offers a unique balance of artistic expression and technical challenge.

In his role within the infrastructure studio at MWA, Tom’s value of community improvement aligns perfectly with his projects. With forty years of experience in the industry, Tom brings a broad knowledge base to the table, covering multiple facets of the field. He embraces the challenges of designing infrastructure projects, such as water treatment facilities, which allow him to create lasting, functional designs that truly benefit the community.

At MWA, Tom values the collaborative, friendly culture of the firm. He enjoys working with a team where everyone gets along and works well together. Many junior team members at MWA consider Tom their greatest mentor.

Outside of work, Tom is a hands-on individual. He enjoys home improvement projects, creating art—particularly scroll saw work—and exploring new culinary experiences by cooking dishes from various cultures. Music also plays an important role in his life, whether he’s playing it or enjoying it.
