Erik is an architect whose journey into architecture started with childhood memories of watching his grandfather draft, followed by a high school drafting class that sparked his interest. From there, he never looked back. He loves the collaborative nature of design, blending sculpture with function, and working with teams to create meaningful spaces. He thrives on the balance between creativity and technical problem-solving.

At MWA, Erik is inspired by the people and the passion they bring to their work. He values the opportunity to design spaces that can have a lasting impact on families and communities, helping to shape places that feel like home. He strives to understand different perspectives, find common ground, and remain open to new ideas from residents, clients, colleagues, or anyone outside the architecture world. Passionate about learning, he’s always exploring new trends, materials, and techniques in design, keeping an open mind to what’s next.

When he’s not at work, Erik enjoys backpacking, hiking, traveling, cooking, and, of course, eating. He also spends his time reading, taking long walks in his apartment with his cat, and hanging out with his partner.
