MWA Controller Dan Johnson makes accounting and finance approachable for staff. With 20 years in finance, Dan is an expert at communicating financials so that people feel confident about the accounting process. His primary goal is to keep MWA on track financially so that everyone can benefit from the company’s success.

Dan is drawn to the AEC industry because he values designs that showcase sustainability and incorporate a unique approach to functionality. In his free time, he loves landscaping and caring for his garden while spending time with his spouse and dog.

Also talented in the culinary realm, Dan has a specialty in pairing food and wine and has attained an advanced certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust of London. And, if you’re lucky, you’ll visit our Portland office on a day that Dan brings some of his homemade chocolates to share with the firm.
