north city pure water facility
North City Pure Water Facility will treat and purify wastewater to supplement the City’s drinking water supply. Once operational, the new plant will have a production capacity of up to 34MGD. MWA is responsible for providing design guidelines for all buildings at the plant, as well as the design of the Operations & Maintenance facility. The 33,000 SF O&M facility will contain administration offices, a plant control room, maintenance shop, staff locker, and break rooms, a 7,000 SF water quality laboratory, a public interpretive lobby, and an entry ramp and water feature. The facility is designed to be certified LEED Silver.
