Renaissance Commons

When it is complete, Renaissance Commons will be a transit oriented, vibrant, affordable housing development in North Portland’s Kenton neighborhood. A variety of families will be served with 189 apartments ranging in size from studios to 3-bedroom units. The generous ground floor community rooms and outdoor courtyards will promote an active, pedestrian friendly environment.

Intended to maximize density, reduce automobile use, while providing affordable housing, Renaissance Commons will be an anchor project, providing a catalyst for future development in the neighborhood. Located adjacent to a TriMet light rail station, residents will have access to the entire metropolitan area via this public transit amenity.

Bordered by light industrial buildings, an 11-acre park, multifamily residences, and growing retail amenities of the Kenton neighborhood’s Historic Downtown, the new apartments will provide an opportunity for displaced residents to remain in the neighborhood while contributing to the fabric of the community.
