Maria Benavente
Designer
Maria’s experience in architecture started in Peru where she worked on residential and public infrastructure projects. Born into a family of doctors, she has always seen architecture as a profession that serves humanity’s essential needs; just as a person needs a doctor, a person also needs a house. Maria’s studies in sustainability, emergency architecture, and international cooperation have helped her develop a social, friendly, and resilient approach to design.
When she’s not collaborating on an architectural project, Maria enjoys spending time with family, travelling, swimming, drawing, taking pictures, and of course, eating Peruvian food!
