Maithili Vichare

Designer

As a child I visited the Nehru Center in Mumbai and would bring home encyclopedias and magazines from their library. When I was 11 years old I came across an architecture magazine and I was hooked. I received my Bachelor’s in Architecture from University of Mumbai and then Master’s in Interior Architecture from California Polytechnic. In Mumbai I worked on commercial and residential projects. When I came to the States, I became interested in working on public projects which led me to MWA.

While I love design, in my free time I read, surf, and hike. I also like to sing!  I trained in Classical Hindustani and am still learning.
