Erina Yamada
Designer | Job Captain
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Erina moved to the US in 2008. As a multilingual student, Erina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with studio awards.
In 2020, she joined our San Francisco Housing Studio. She has always enjoyed sketching, drawing, and painting, and has honed these mediums simultaneously with architectural design. Along with her creative strength, she is a team player and collaborative problem solver, pro-actively contributing to her team. Erina is dedicated to continued learning throughout her career and is particularly interested in sustainable design and building practices. She endeavors and works with others to build community, each step towards a productive, meaningful, and better environment.
Outside of work, Erina is a modern renaissance woman. Her time is spent playing the piano and running marathons. A foodie, Erina can be counted on to create obscure yet delicious eats with her culinary bent. She enjoys life, work, and learning new things.
