Bill lanning, AIA

Principal

Bill has dedicated much of his experience in architecture to providing dignified and humane affordable housing. As Principal, he leads the majority of MWA Portland’s multifamily housing projects, ranging from market-rate to special needs. Bill is supported by his excellent team who is equally passionate about designing housing for all.

The Portland Housing team has developed an approach that helps MWA design high-quality projects that are dynamic, become catalysts for the community, and provide the best degree of livability, functionality, and maintainability.

Living in Portland for over 25 years, Bill has been able to see the city grow and continues to explore and appreciate the PNW with his family. His family keeps busy, filling their schedules with soccer, softball, and dance classes.
