Amber Snowden

A 2020 graduate from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor in Architecture degree, Amber Snowden joined our San Francisco Housing Studio in 2020. Excited to start her career with MWA, Amber aspires to become a licensed architect. She is hoping to learn from her team while also bringing fresh enthusiasm and a creative perspective.

Passionate about using her skills to help humanity and the environment, she earnestly wishes to design for communities to help every person live, work, and thrive. Amber’s wish mirrors MWA’s own mission, and in fact, those values are what drew her to the firm. As part of MWA’s DEI committee, Amber leads firmwide forums that discuss how our firm can utilize design as a tool for social change, including demographic analysis programs, processes, and applications.

She spends her free time in artistic and gardening endeavors. Amber works on creating art pieces, whether it’s sculpting, painting, or drawing, and collects and cares for various plants, including succulents.
