MWA Designer Spencer Scott is driven by the belief that our work can create positive change within our daily environment. With a master’s degree in architecture and a unique blend of experience in graphic design and computer science, Spencer’s Jack-of-All-Trades nature is his greatest asset to MWA. He embraces his multidisciplinary background and appreciates the mix of creative problem-solving skills required to complete each project.

Spencer finds joy in his daily work when a detail comes together or a sketching exercise yields a new solution, but he finds the greatest satisfaction in seeing our work realized in physical form. As part of MWA’s Sustainability Studio, Spencer’s passion for reusability and adaption is a testament to his commitment to sustainable design, searching for ways to repurpose underutilized structures.

Outside of work, Spencer spends much of his free time dancing. You may find him at contemporary swing dance classes in country and West Coast varieties. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Spencer also jumps into any nature-based activity given the season.
