Max Weisenbloom , ASSOC. AIA

Designer

Max is a designer who enjoys problem-solving, whether it’s figuring out a tricky design challenge or making a space more functional and beautiful. He thrives on collaboration, brainstorming with his team, and learning new things about design. Max graduated from the Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s in architecture, researching homelessness and housing affordability. Max’s college research informed his belief that every form of architecture is connected. He has a sharp eye for detail but keeps the bigger picture in mind, ensuring every element works toward the project’s overall purpose. With skills in Revit and rendering, he brings creativity and technical skills to the team. He’s passionate about urban design, adaptive reuse, and designing buildings that stand the test of time. For Max, architecture isn’t just about structures; it’s about the people who use them.

At MWA, he brings curiosity, creativity, and a dedication to meaningful design. He loves the variety of project types that he works on and the relationships he builds with clients and user groups that are built on listening and forming connections. To Max, MWA’s values reflect how best we can serve the community. He reminds himself that his day-to-day tasks contribute to bigger goals and values that make it all worth it.

Outside of work, Max loves to explore, whether it’s biking around the city, discovering hidden spots, or getting out into nature. He likes woodworking, sewing, and cooking, and he’s always up for finding a great new book or catching a movie with his partner. At home, he has two cats keeping him on his toes.
