Kelsey Plucar

MWA Designer Kelsey Plucar experiences the greatest fulfillment while engulfed in the creative process. Studying both psychology and architecture in college, Kelsey sees the built environment as the culmination of these disciplines, testifying to the significant effect our surroundings can have on people’s lives. As part of the Portland Infrastructure Studio, Kelsey is excited to apply her user-centric, elevated designs to buildings that are often seen as utilitarian.

Kelsey is a self-proclaimed chameleon, always ready to embrace new challenges and support the team where needed. She is a resourceful problem-solver, meticulous in her work, and enjoys collaborating with others, traits that shine through in every stage of the architectural process. Kelsey strives to understand, and she looks forward to absorbing the knowledge of her talented colleagues as well as working closely with her team to create impactful projects.

Architectural designer by day, Kelsey is a creative connoisseur by night. Outside of work, you may find her wood-burning mountainous landscapes, refinishing furniture, testing her hand as a stained glass glazier, or landscaping her yard for her two pups to enjoy. However, her list of creative endeavors is ever-growing as Kelsey continues to pursue new ways to diversify her creative process.
