BIM Manager

Chris Buchanan has worked with BIM since the early development of Revit and remains at the forefront of BIM and Revit technology. He uses his technical skills to streamline project coordination and improve workflow across teams. Chris uses his skills to optimize collaboration and elevate design efficiency at MWA.

Chris is particularly drawn to MWA’s inclusive and community-oriented culture, which aligns with his passion for fostering teamwork and client-centric solutions. Chris engages with stakeholders to understand their needs, creating projects that align with client expectations.

Beyond his technical expertise, Chris is committed to leveraging BIM for sustainable, data-driven solutions. He believes in the power of resilient design and is eager to contribute to MWA’s mission of serving the essential needs of the community through beautiful, thoughtful, and respectful design.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys hiking, disc golfing, camping, and spending quality time with his family and dog. His dedication to the community is evident in his past roles as a soccer coach and AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer.
