Tri-City Water Pollution Control Plant

Oregon City, OR

The Tri-City WPCP rests at the confluence of the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers in a rapidly growing community.

MWA master planned the site to allow its capacity to grow to 40MGD by 2060. The design team embraced a plan which located new buildings on the south edge to serve as a welcoming and enriching public interface. MWA is designing the new buildings and setting Design Standards for new and existing buildings. The new facilities include: 7,500sf Administration/Operations Building – to serve as a front door to the community, featuring an indoor/outdoor reclaimed water demonstration feature and a conference room available to the public; 10,000sf Lab/Industrial Pretreatment Building; 14,400sf Maintenance Building; 10,400sf Field Operations Building.
