To comply with anticipated surface water treatment rules, and to upgrade the antiquated facility, MWA designed new buildings and renovated existing buildings to new uses. New construction is designed to blend with the existing architectural context while remaining almost invisible to the surrounding community that has grown up around the plant. We also provided site improvements for the entire plant, including landscaping and screening, site and building lighting, plaza design, building graphics and entry gate design.
