As the first building visible on the campus it improves on the existing context through refinement in shapes, details and materials. The facility contains two components: a laboratory utilizing an open design concept with 10-foot high ceilings, office space with a library, break/conference room and public entry. The design utilizes passive solar principles, including shading devices, deeply recessed windows and high performance glass.
