The building houses a volunteer fire department, chief’s office, small museum, 5 drive-through apparatus bays, shower room, a kitchen, public bathrooms, and community meeting room. The interior is organized to provide clean circulation pathways that connect the community, administration, and response functions. The simple coastal building design’s exterior is clad with a mix of cedar lap siding and board and battens, highlighted by wood post and beam elements that tie the building together.
