The cast-in-place concrete structure is in a highly visible riverside location. Seen from above, green roofing systems cover the flat roof surfaces draining to a large bio-swale and retention pond area. MWA provided architectural design for all buildings including vent structures, and coordinated Portland Arts Program elements with landscape architects, Murase Associates. The project also involved funding a permeable concrete bicycle path between the site and the Willamette River through the City’s Community Benefit Opportunity Program.
