The 25,000 square foot center includes classrooms for school-based programs, including computer learning, painting and sculpture, computer graphics, and physical arts. The facility also houses a laboratory and pharmacy, meeting rooms, offices for staff, a “Cyber Café,” and the “Living Room” and little theatre, an informal gathering space for the youth and community to be together. To confirm that the existing building, a former supermarket, was salvageable, MWA performed a feasibility study.
