MWA completely renovated the existing Fire Dispatch Center and added the Emergency Operations Center to the complex. As this facility must be fully operational during a large-scale emergency it features redundant emergency power and communications systems, uninterruptible power for computer systems, and structural strength in excess of essential service facility standards. We also designed architectural features to reduce staff member stress such as daylighting, spatial openness and noise mitigation.
